Whether your chimney has storm, frost or heat damage or is simply in need of some careful repointing and restoration and/or lead flashing replacement, Vertente Roofing has the experience and skills to complete your chimney repairs to a meticulous standard. Maintaining your chimney stack is far more cost-effective in the long-run, as if left unrepaired a part (or full) replacement may become warranted.

Whether in full use or left standing for aesthetically pleasing reasons, chimneys, by their nature, need to be maintained and repointed at regular intervals. Should there be cracked or crumbling mortar around your chimney stack, water damage caused by leaks can lead to other problems. There is also a safety aspect to keeping chimneys in good repair especially if they are in everyday use, they must be kept clear of blockages and working efficiently for good indoor air-quality and ensuring a viable heat supply. Vertente Roofing has experience in all aspects of chimney work and we will always advise repair wherever possible, over replacement.

Should you wish to remove a chimney stack altogether, we can also assist with the careful process of doing so and then roofing that section, maintaining a watertight property during the process (please note, this only applies to the stack).
